Growing up in the mountains of Western North Carolina, I never imagined finding trails more beautiful than those of the Pisgah National Forest near my hometown of Hendersonville. All of that changed the first time I pulled my trailer into the Big South Fork some twenty years ago...

A horse lover from the very beginning, I have been extremely blessed to have shared my adventures with wonderful equine partners of many different breeds: Morgans, Arabians, Thoroughbreds, Quarter Horses, Walking Horses, Racking Horses, Appaloosas, Welsh Ponies, and Paso Finos. My current equine companions are my Thoroughbred mare, London and my Kentucky Mountain Saddle Horse gelding, Bill. As it goes with owning many different breeds, I have also tried my hand at many various riding and even driving disciplines. It was through my involvement with competitive distance riding that my eyes were opened to just truly how great the Upper Cumberland area is and all that it has to offer the horseperson.

No matter what breed of equine you may ride or what kind of saddle you may put on its back, I am certain you will find exactly what you've been missing in your riding adventures, just as I did all those years ago and I will be more than delighted to help you claim a piece of this exquisite heaven-on-earth as your very own!
